Resolving Complaints & Disputes


Any person may lodge a complaint with FDANZ concerning a member firm.

Complaints regarding Members must be received by the Association within 90 days of the date of the funeral. 

To discuss a complaint, in the first instance please try and resolve the issue with the firm involved, if you are unhappy with the outcome, please follow the below steps:

  1. Check that the Funeral Home is a member of FDANZ here
  2. The complaint must be in writing and supported by any statutory declaration or additional information FDANZ may require.
